Open Cluster M52, also catalogued as NGC7654, is a dense open cluster located in the constellation Cassiopeia. It is thought to contain approximately 190 member stars. Due to the absorption of light by interstellar gas, its exact distance is not known. Also visible in this photo (at lower left) is the upper portion of the Bubble Nebula (NGC6822).
