Astrophotography Gallery > Other Objects > A Planetary Triangle
Date: Sunday, May 26, 2013
Location: Clovis, CA
We had a rather rare astronomical event this year, where three planets did a dance in a mere 2.5-degree circle in the sky. Between two trees being blown by the wind, the three planets Venus (bottom), Jupiter (middle left), and Mercury (upper right) appear as a beautiful triangle in the sky.
